Falling Into Place
The past few weeks have been some of the busiest yet as we continue bringing our expansion project to life. Our team spent a dedicated “rearranging week” working hard to put the finishing touches on the sales floor. Staff added two new aisles, reset existing aisles and displays, and moved products throughout the store into their permanent homes. While the process required plenty of teamwork, planning, and flexibility, the results have transformed the shopping experience and helped create a more organized, accessible store for everyone.
At the same time, crews have been busy adding the interior design elements that truly bring the project together. From fixtures and finishes to decorative touches, these details help turn a construction project into a welcoming space our community can enjoy for years to come.
One of the most noticeable changes is our expanded produce department. With additional space, improved displays, and a fresh new look, the department is now fully set and looking beautiful. We are excited to offer a more comfortable shopping experience while continuing to provide the high-quality produce our shoppers expect.
The deli has also reached an exciting milestone with the return of the hot bar, soup bar, and salad bar. As we settle into our new kitchen and equipment, we appreciate your patience. While these offerings are back, there may be times when not every station or menu item is available. Our team is learning new equipment, refining processes, training staff, and working hard to build consistency. We remain committed to delivering the quality and variety you enjoy and expect, and we appreciate your support as we continue to grow into our new space.
The new dining room is now officially open and welcoming shoppers to sit, relax, enjoy a meal, or catch up with friends over coffee. The public restrooms located off the dining room hallway are also complete and available for use.
Work continues on the meeting room adjacent to the dining room, with crews focusing on the final finishing touches. We look forward to sharing more details once the space is ready for community use.
While you’re exploring the new area, be sure to visit Scout & Morgan Books, the neighboring bookstore. A convenient doorway located in the hallway near the dining room restrooms provides direct access between our spaces, making it easier than ever to stop by and support another local business.
Every week brings us closer to completing this project, and we couldn’t have done it without the patience, encouragement, and support of our owners, shoppers, staff, and community.
Thank you for being part of this exciting chapter in City Center Market’s history!
