I’ve grown a lot in my time here (going on 8 years!). I started out learning the basics, and now I’ve really been able to step up and take ownership of what I do and my role as Marketing Coordinator. Baker

City Center Market’s Bakery strives to be the best bakery, period. Owned by our neighbors and open to everyone, we provide our community with great food and the best customer service. Our bakery provides single-serve, multi-packs and made-from-scratch options with consistent selection every day. The Baker safely and efficiently produces these high-quality, freshly baked goods including breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies following established recipes and ensuring a consistent product for our customers. A successful baker will have a tendency to be detail-oriented, thorough in completing work as well as reliable, responsible, and consistent in meeting work-related obligations.

Pay: $15-$20.00/hour
Hours: Full-Time (40 hours)/Part-Time (24 hours)

Barista

Create welcoming moments with thoughtfully prepared drinks and friendly service at our coffee counter!

City Center Market strives to be a welcoming, vibrant gathering place where people feel valued, connected and part of our community.
The Barista plays an important role in bringing this vision to life by creating exceptional hospitality and a warm, inviting experience for every person who walks through our doors. More than preparing and serving food and beverages, the Barista helps create a space where people can gather, connect, share stories and feel a sense of belonging. Through friendly, attentive service and pride in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming café environment, Baristas contribute to an experience that keeps customers coming back. They prepare and serve quality coffee, specialty and seasonal beverages, and a variety of delicious food options, including paninis, sandwiches, soups and hot bar selections.
For many guests, the Café may be their first introduction to City Center Market. Each interaction is an opportunity to demonstrate our values, build relationships, and create a positive first impression of the co-op. Through genuine hospitality and consistent service, Baristas help strengthen community connections, encourage customer loyalty, and inspire greater engagement with City Center Market.

Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager leads the Co-op’s marketing efforts to strengthen brand recognition, increase sales and customer traffic, grow owner engagement, and maintain a positive presence in the store and community. This creative and collaborative leadership position combines marketing strategy with graphic design, social media, email marketing, website management, events, community relations, and promotional campaigns. The Marketing Manager develops and coordinates marketing materials and campaigns, supports owner and community engagement, maintains the Co-op’s digital presence, tracks marketing performance, and works closely with department managers, vendors, and community partners. Ideal candidates are creative, organized, self-directed communicators with strong marketing and design skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for cooperative business, community involvement, and connecting customers with the Co-op.

Pay: $52k-$62k Salary

Grocery Stocker (Center Store)

The Grocery Stocker plays a key role in keeping our center store department clean, full, organized, and attractive for customers. This hands-on position combines excellent customer service with stocking, product rotation, merchandising, backstock organization, inventory support, and product quality control. The Grocery Stocker helps maintain accurate and well-presented shelves and displays, minimizes out-of-stocks and shrink, assists with deliveries and department maintenance, and supports other store departments as needed. Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, detail-oriented team players with strong customer service skills, the ability to work independently, and an interest in grocery retail, natural foods, and quality products.

Pay: $13-17.00/hour

The Human Resources Manager oversees all human resource functions for the Co-op, supporting employees and managers while maintaining a positive, confidential, and legally compliant workplace. This people-focused leadership position combines recruitment and onboarding with employee relations, compliance, benefits and leave administration, performance management, training, and workplace culture initiatives. The Human Resources Manager serves as a trusted resource for employees, coaches managers through performance and workplace issues, manages employee records and benefits, oversees HR compliance, and helps create consistent training and employee engagement practices. Ideal candidates are experienced, highly organized, approachable, and discreet HR professionals with strong communication skills, sound knowledge of employment regulations, and the ability to work independently while supporting employees across all departments and shifts.

Pay: $62k-$72k Salary
